Players will usually connect using IP:Port, for example 123.45.67.89:27015.

- Start the game and go to Multiplayer or Join Server.
- Look for a field labelled IP, Address or Server Address.
- Enter the IP/Hostname exactly as shown in your service details.

- In Server Name, type anything you like (for example, My PlayNHost Server).

IP:Port(for example,123.45.67.89:25565), or- Just the hostname if you have set up a custom domain that points to your server.
- Click Done, select the server in the list and click Join Server.
5. Common connection issues
- Timed out / cannot reach server
Make sure the server is actually running in the Game Panel, the IP/port are correct, and players are using the right game version. - Wrong version
Check that your server’s game version matches the version players are using. Update either the server or client if needed. - Password or whitelist issues
If your server has a password or whitelist, make sure players are using the correct password and have been allowed or added.
If you have followed these steps and players still cannot connect, read our “Players can’t join my server – basic connection checks” article or open a ticket from Support → Submit a Ticket in the Client Area with your IP, port and a description of the problem.
